Teacher review of Work It Out with Phrasal Verbs

Marie Casafina-Orwin, an ELT teacher and founder of Openness, a language tutoring centre in Cambridge, UK, shares a review of Work It Out with Phrasal Verbs, our latest teaching resource written by Billie Jago and Monica Ruda-Peachey.

Everything you need to deliver a full and successful lesson on phrasal verbs

As an EFL teacher, this book is a godsend! It includes everything you need to deliver a full and successful lesson on phrasal verbs. I got the e-book and what you receive is well-organised in folders with Powerpoints and pdfs. It makes it easy to pick and choose what you need for your lessons. The activities are interesting and varied. In addition, they can be easily adapted to your class. What makes the whole thing more valuable than other books I have used is that all the target language is used within a context that reflects real life, making the language relevant to the learners.

Highly recommend it, a game changer!

The teacher's notes are well-written and contain everything to guide you, with at the same time giving you the freedom to manipulate the material in a way that suits your teaching style. As mentioned earlier, the activities are fun and lively and more importantly your students will learn common phrasal verbs to enrich their vocabulary. Highly recommend it, a game changer!
