Introducing our latest book of practice tests for the Cambridge C1 Advanced exam
Luis Porras Wadley is the owner and director of KSE Academy, an online English academy and official Cambridge English Exam Preparation Centre based in Granada, Spain. As an English teacher, Luis has been preparing Cambridge candidates successfully for over 10 years. He is the author of our popular Speaking First title, which published in 2019.
This book aims to provide meaningful speaking practice while following the format of the C1 Advanced Speaking paper. Both teachers and candidates can benefit from this resource, in that they can familiarise themselves with the format and level of the exam, and the type of questions and topics covered. Furthermore, and most importantly, students can learn, through repetitive practice, what to expect on the day of their Speaking exam.
Included are examiner comments highlighting different aspects of the model answers, such as: the strategies candidates make use of to address some of the parts, the way they express their opinions, how they interact with one another, etc. The aim of these comments is to draw the reader’s attention to important details that might help them to achieve a successful performance in this part of the C1 Advanced examination.
